Re: O/T Explain water bucket mouse trap

I second your drier sheet comment (doesn't work). I'm trying repellent (pic attached) currently.

Re: Bent spokes

Recently I used the big crowbar method. Not my idea; borrowed from a previous thread. You'd be surprised what you can do with just a little leverage.

Re: Bearing ID

Impressive packaging to say the least. Wax-coated box--->wrapped in heavy wax paper--->another layer of heavy wax paper--->nicely greased. I'll grab a rag tomorrow and see if I can find a number.

Bearing ID

Long-shot that it's an 'A' part, but it was with a box of Model A parts I acquired quite some time ago. Been sealed in wax since '51. Really could belong to ANYTHING, but I figure worth asking. I...

Re: pinpointing month date-of-assembly

Really didn't mean to imply determining the exact day. Wording should have been month.
Turns out to be Sept-->Dec 1930 (165-C). Likely closer to December. Going through Steve's articles (and with...

A&L Parts contact number

I have tried the number(s) listed in the vendor 'stickies' for A&L (Conn):
860/693.0112
860/693.2620
plus alternate Conn. area code:
203/693.0112
203/693.2620

No luck with any of the above....
