I didn't realize things have gotten so expensive.

SEARCH - CONTROL ARM BUSHING INSTALLER KITS and you might decide it is cheaper to buy a set. At least you would have them for future...

Yes. The CLAMP works as a press. You push the bushing out and the new one in with adapters similar as shown in the SHOP MANUAL.

If out, why not take to a machine shop?

Will your...

Post Re: 57 PS valve removal

On the car is going to be a tough one. FORD released a SPECIAL SERVICE TOOL KIT decades ago that allows on car bushing replacement if you can find the right size adapters -

The engine is out of the car?

Did you use a spring compressor to remove the springs or just drop the lower control arm with a floor jack?

Question Re: Can we post about 1966 Ford Mustangs?

What is the exact application?

M/T or A/T ?

M/B or P/B?

Vendors such as SCOTT DRAKE advertise a better quality replacement. Might review their site.

The below photos show a NOS switch.

Post Re: iddle problem

It sounds to me that possibly your curb idle speed is not set high enough or the mixture trim is not balanced correctly/fault in carb/linkage.

Does it run OK around town?

Re: Increasing RPMs when shifting Fordomatic into Drive

Read in you SHOP MANUAL, setting curb idle RPM. There is no idle speed increase feature in your application.

It is a BW259 3/S.

There were two different replacement flex-plates, both showing the...
