I was told same cut on a 45 deg and boil to soften and they'll slip on. I'm looking for the same video info but I've found nothing yet.

This is an old post, but in case any one else is looking, I just bought an adapter at Ace Hardware. You need to take the carb and a Zenth/Tillotson connector and they can match them up.

The original glass was 3/16"s and tempered. Laminated or safety glass is 1/4" which is common today. Pros and cons for each. I prefer the 1/4" laminated. Both fit the channels but the larger one...

Any thoughts about the best way to orient the clamp? One part front, one part back; or one inside, one outside; or obliquely oriented; or doesn't matter at all? I've seen it all different ways, but...
