Rotorwench, I was thinking of the volume and tuning knobs that might be at the wrong spacing. In my 47 the spacing between knobs is 7''. I thought I might able to find a complete radio with that...

Wondered if anyone had ever installed a different radio inside the casing of a 47
Ford car radio ? It wouldn''t matter if it was 6/12 volt. Is it possible ?

I have a stock 47, 239ci engine that gets for lack of a better word, soot in the tail pipe. Wondering what the cure is ? Thanks, Moe

Don't know how to enlarge a picture from my avaitor but I can't help but wonder how the workers felt about the different models looked so much alike. There were likely some mistakes made on a Monday...

In your recent post you mentioned that since most are using modern coils with your condenser it would work fine. If I was to install your condenser and using my original type
coil would it work...

I have a 49/50 backup light bracket and switch that I installed and works on my 47 car.
It just took awhile to figure out how to mount it so it works !!
