This was the problem I had when I first got my 55 F100-cleaned the wire connections (which are exposed to the elements) and had nice bright headlights.

Small portion of a rubber fuel hose added to where it almost touches the radiator cap. No doubt the baffle was not installed correctly but hopefully the hose extension will work.

Thanks all. I took a look at the water flow with the engine running. During idle, the water flows below the baffle. At higher RPMs it then comes in quickly over the top of the baffle. Maybe this...

The system cools well the problem is that if I go faster than 45mph, I start loosing too much water which then starts to make my mechanical temp gauge start to rise whenever I slow down. I will try...

Unless your heart is set on a Bosch, how about a Pertronix 40kV Flamethrower Ignition Coil, Black, 3 Ohm, Epoxy Filled. P/N 40611. Mine works great with my stock distributor.

Update....the rotor gap was within recommended specs and it made no difference so I will stick with my non script distributor body. Appreciate all the help.
