I would be tempted to follow the book. But then the shoes you are using are aftermarket so it might be asking questions from the maker of the shoes.

Might be a '14 but has a later body from the hood former back, and electric lights. It would be good to verify the year of the chassis. Depending on what is truly missing I see $2500 - $4000.

If they are installed properly they shouldn't migrate. The ones made of actual pipe would be more secure anyway. Ford wouldn't have spent the money to add them if they were unnecessary. They are used...

Do the machine work first and then measure. Some find cutting their own rings from steel pipe works better than the rings you can get nowadays as they would be solid round. Personally I would test...

Most often seen when water has entered the combustion chamber. It was an old time method to get rid of carbon if done on purpose.

Get the seamstress to whip you up some imitation leather ones! My rubber ones are old-old but are in good condition. Maybe there were some batch or age deficiencies with the rubber. Or old...

They were a common after market accessory. used on many other cars also. I don't know if their presence would affect judging.

His gasket set should include multiple gaskets for that purpose.

Remove the axle housings to replace the seals in them as well as the gaskets on the banjo.
