Pump gravity and splash oil system.its like a monsoon in the crankcase,the connecting rod and crankshaft throw passes through a tray of oil each rotation with a little 'cup' or dipper picking up oil...

All tires were rationed during WW2,a family was allowed five tires of any condition and had to prove an 'essential for the war effort' reason to buy new from 1941 to 1945..all tires,not just 4.75-19...

16" Ford or Kelsey Hayes wires and modern radials.Better ride,better braking,better handling.
Could never understand the 'looks' argument,the car is safer to drive and a better ride with modern tire...

No ramifications,I would use at least 4,do the exhaust valves,they benefit the most from proper adjustment.The longer they are on the seat the cooler they get.

When your cam is out swap it for a B...

Nope on the guesstimate part reserves are actually still being found,recoverable reserves in the Gulf of Mexico has just gone up in the past few years.

Fracking reopens 'dried up' wells,some of the traditional west texas oil patch wells are producing again.

Oil reserves are based on what it costs to get to the oil,the expensive to get to oil...

Citing reserves doesnt tell the whole story,reserves are based on recovery cost,not identified fields. Fracturing opened vast fields in the Permian and Eagle Ford formations that were considered...
