Re: Did cars smoke in the fifties?

Back in the day I had a girlfriend that drove a 39 Chevy with a big oil leak. I couldn't remember if it was the front or rear main, but oil ran out almost as fast as you replaced it.
I would go to a...

Re: shock absorber kits

Did the same rear kit from Drake, but did the front tube shock kit from Pete and Jake.

Numbers?

After removing the intake on a V8 60 motor I noticed these numbers stamped on the block. What do they mean? Were they put there by Ford or were they done after by some remanufacture? Maybe someone...

Re: V8-60 Fords Little Powerhouse

Funny thing is some owners must have felt this motor that came with my car was good enough to keep for 77 years. I can't believe it is still there and original. Maybe I won't win any races but it...

Re: 39 deluxe - 40 deluxe

It's hard to find a 57 with a 283 motor....most have been changed out to a 350.

In 57 I knew a man that factory ordered a 57 convertible, 283 with fuel injection and 4 speed manual. All these...
