Re: Grab handle

I like this simple and neat grab handle. Blockhead, thanks for sharing. I recently had a 94-year-old WW2 veteran in my Victoria, and a grab rail would have been helpful for him. So I plan to...

Re: converting to 1970 v8 points for model a

The arguments for the modern points are bogus in my opinion.

The metal tire cover depicted in the service bulletins, some Unity Sport Lights with closed car brackets, some 1930-'31 fenders lights, a couple of sets of 1930-'31 fenders, at least 2 sets of 1931...

Re: U-Joint rebuild

I made new keepers from the wire of a coat hangar. The u-joint with my homemade keepers is in my Victoria and that joint has been to 70 MPH once.

Re: converting to 1970 v8 points for model a

The modern points & condenser are no better performing than the original Model "A" points & condenser. I do not understand the need to convert to the new er stuff. Can somebody explain the value of...

I have a 0.814" spindle bolt reamer (AKA King Pin reamer) that no longer cuts. Can it be sharpened to not less than 0.810" diameter?

Re: whats the best & worst car to buy in 1930

Re: Replacing king pins

Leave the front axle on the car. Take the spindles off so you can replace and ream the bushings on a work bench. Be sure to chock the wheels and support the car with stands.
