well it takes several minutes of warming up and if I push the throttle lever down down to idle too early, the engine dies. I've have lots of difficulty finding the best idle speed accordingly.

oh no crisis, it just seemed that my car started better when I had the original Zenith in it. after changing over to various "rebuilt" Zeniths I felt it was more time-consuming to get a nice idle...

I've always surmised, without much evidence, that most of you guy live in rural, semi-rural, or small towns. Many member own multiple cars and need sufficient garage space.

I agree with you, Dan, if you over-choke the carb gas pours out of it.

Did we ever learn why he would have an incorrect timing gear cover on the car?

we need a consensus about adjusting the length of brake rods.

weren't the earliest brake rods non-adjustable?

if no adjustment was ever deemed desirable, why were the brake rods threaded?

trivial: new wiring harnesses etc. never really fit the posts they go on?

have you guys ever noticed that many new loop wiring terminals, be they on the various harnesses or on trickle chargers, never really easily go onto the posts and you have to hog out the holes...
