The motor in my roadster has an oil pan with just a plug in the bottom :mad:- my coupe has a pan that has a plug and an access plate to pull the oil pump out without dropping the pan :). QUESTION;...

I sure appreciate all the info.- sounds like I ended up with an interesting piece . Once we recover from the winter, I want to study on that rear and hopefully run it in my roadster. I've got one...

I thought that's how they mark their "territory"? ( like an old Harley- if it's NOT dripping, you've got problems). Besides , if I tried to empty that thing, I'd probably dump it anyway!:eek:

Put the insulation on the INSIDE of the firewall , and cover it with something painted a dark color ( or even a piece of matching carpet material)?? That keeps the engine compartment neat, but forms...

No idea- I just got this and haven't really had to much time to tinker with it. Thanks to all for the feedback. Research will continue focusing on "Twin X" . Any more "info / links" greatly...

mine kept slipping and I put rubber washers in(sort of like the closed car swing arms have) and so far ,so good. Cheap and quick.

Polish an aluminum frame if judging isn't an issue.I had one in a coupe and it looked like chrome with a little elbow grease ( ok, a lot of elbow grease)
