I can tell you that it definitely isn't soldering or brazing. It's 100% pot metal welding. That said, I've spent years in perfecting my equipment/process and unfortunately I'm not at liberty to speak...

Those are a customer's set. They are just about through the plating process...
However, if you have a broken set or just one, it can be rebuilt reconditioned restored.
