I will look again, but I don't recall seeing any pins when I took the nuts off a few years back. Does anyone have an idea about how far back from the end of the axle the holes are?

My father just picked up a barn find 1947 two door sedan. The passengers door handle will not turn and a key won't turn in it either. Something seems stuck and he can't open the door. Any advice ?

It does look like an early 20's Dodge... but the Durant looks similar too. I am guessing this time period is difficult, due to so many makes.

On a positive note (I think)... I did the first compression test on this old girl today. Actually, did it twice... I got from 98-100 on all cylinders warmed up, throttle open, etc... I don't think...
