Yes I know the top should be countersunk, by drilling the hole to 8mm it removes most of the hole taper. I might grinds some of the crown of the bolts to make them look less obvious....

Managed to fit it today, the 4 holes on the outside of the rail and the 2 front where it attaches to the bottom of the rail lined up perfectly.
The 2 top front lined up close.

I have just picked up another Model A chassis, it's missing the front crossmember. The new chassis is a later A 30, 31 I think but my good crack free spare crossmember is a early 28 with solid engine...

Using a original slant 6 kick down rod or if I have no luck with fitting this will be using a aftermarket cable kit I can get for $135.
The carb will be a Holley 94 or my Stromberg 97 so should be...

I have actually the steering assy from a RHD F1, everything but the steering box. I'am actually having the "swan neck" part of the steering...

I'm will be fitting a Model A engine to auto kit in the next few weeks.

The flex plate with this kit is about 4mm thick, looks a lot stronger than any OEM flex I have ever come across.
I guess with the big 4s harmonics it needs to be.

Thanks for the kit and quite a reasonable price for part and shipment too. Just need to work out how to get the adaptor to fit the engine, and the rest of the fitment into my A is more...

I have just picked up a Torqueflite 904 kit from Bert's Model A.
Is is just a basic kit where it's just the adaptor for the crank and bell.

They have a top, bottom and side like every engine, actually was referring to the oil tray to keep oil feeding the dippers.
