Some were painted before assembly and some, such as the rear end, were painted after assembly. We're talking many different components with many different finishes on the chassis.

I tighten the bridge nuts down pretty much as tight as they will go. Make sure that your bridge washers are in good condition so that they will press evenly against the tube and bottom of the stem...

Here is a picture of the rear mounts (A-5090-B) in my December '27 Coupe. It has the rectangular cutouts 1/4" from the inside mounting side, which made them very prone to cracking and breaking.

The picture you posted in #5 above is of my early '29 Tudor seat. All of my brackets are the forged type, not the stamped mounting brackets and rear cups.

A good radiator shop should be able to re-core your radiator using your upper and lower tanks as well as side straps. If you don't want to go that route, you should be able to sell it to someone...
