I've had pretty good luck with mine. Ethanol gas is a not good for these carbs. The varnish gums them up and they leak-alot! I think they get a bad rap. I had Sal Cicala rebuild mine and I runs...

I went Wed and Thurs. There was a lot more modern stuff for my taste but lots of vendors with boxes to dig through. LOTS of tool vendors too. I imagine many people were just eager to get the hell out...

I was there. Had a decent turnout but many spaces were empty. Not many masks being worn. My first time. Definitely want to go back there or Hershey post COVID. I had a good time.

Go to youtube and search "Iron Trap Garage" . If you go to their homepage look up "Free T" project. They are guys in their 30s and build traditional hot rods in their garage. Lots of good info.

The original induction -style guage on my 52 merc was broken but it had an aftermarket guage under the dash. I was able to remove the faceplate on the original gauge and install it on the aftermarket...
