I tried i yesterday without luck.....
Someone else before me hit the shaft with a hammer so the threads are not in good condition anyways. That i can fix once i have the steering wheel of the shaft....

I also used other lubricants then wd-40 ... i just dont want list them all,
And you USA guys dont know the name of german products anyway :-)

Hi,
Thank you for your Ideas.
After i saw the pic of the puller, i got the idea for a thick rubber Ring!
Aircooled vw rear torsion bar rubber!
I will try that with a bearing separator , i guess...

Cant use heat ...
I soaked it in wd40 etc and tried with a puller, but stopped as i am afraid to
Break the bakelite /plastik...

To answer the question.... 4.25x3 5/16 and a Eab or Merc cam....
But where is the fun?
With a 5-speed you can run a more fun cam.
isky 1007b... even if it is not that wild/fun
400jr is probably...

You can get a 8x8 Ecu for around $300 from Australia if you want to go full sequentiell
Just weld some injectors bungs in a manifold , crank and cam sensor , and use COP or coil packs and try it....

Well, a big cc flathead with low octane fuel will knock.... bad chamber design.
Happend to me when we traveld to Wales for the Pendine Sands racing.
Best cure is 102 octance German fuel. Second is...

EM has exhaust Gases up the runners, the Slingshot doesnt.
Good for cold start , not so good for a hot engine.
You want a cold intake charge ....

Its tough to get the pistion rings in the bore.

For a high pressure pump you use the ones from a 255ci french flathead.
I have one in my "race" ( not really,but afte polishing the crank , it got bigger tolerance)loose tolerance engine. Works...

A high volume pump delivers a high volume of oil , not high pressure.
So with tight bearing tolerance , pressure is the same as with loose bearing tolerance.
Because it can deliver enough volume...

Its even cooler that Mart did go over 100mph in Pendine with the car/engine .
