Re: Directionals switch

O.K. it would have helped if you had let us know in the beginning of your post that the unit was working a year ago. So how old is this unit? how old is the flasher? Have you used a test light to see...

Re: Drove 30mi round trip burned 1qt oil

Straight 40 wt. might help. Your are definitely ready for a rebuild. I've been there and done that with a '38 and burned a quart every 60 miles.

Re: 51 wagon rear signal lights

Most factory signal lights are integrated with the stock tail lights. They are part of the stop light system.

Re: Annual MONSTER Swap Portland, Or

Mike sorry to hear about the theft. It's unfortunate that there are thieves in this great hobby. Somewhere along the line they will be caught and it won't be a pretty sight for the crook. Hope you...

Re: Lake Pipe insalation

When I bought mine from Speedway some time back you could also buy the stainless brackets to hang them on the car. On my '54 Merc I drilled some extra holes in the body brackets to mount them with...

Re: Annual MONSTER Swap Portland, Or

Had my usual spot in E building and did well this year. Rained every day and was cold outside. The windy weather tossed a few E-Z Ups at the track. Many empty spaces in the buildings and has been...

Re: Off topic. Remember TV show Columbo?

Columbo was a great show. I now get old Perry Mason reruns and there are lots of mid to late 50's Fords on those shows.

Re: I just bought a '49 Ford Custom and am wondering

Are you going to want a stock type harness or an aftermarket harness? What is your plan for the car as I noticed you are wanting to install electric windows.

Re: 1935 Coupe help

If it was me I would go over this car with a fine tooth comb, I would be looking for rust in the floor pan and check the panel below the trunk and behind the spare tire panel. The panel is very prone...

Obviously has the wrong heater in it. The frame # is on the top of the left frame rail near the steering box. should compare with the # on the ownership certificate.
