Actually, the heads with the firing order are Ford "Pilot" heads. Ford "Pilots" were the first post-war European, large Fords, beginning in 1947. Dagenham cast it's own version of the '37 Model...

The reason for the DEXRON III is because of the material on the blocker rings (synchronizer rings). The fluid must be compatible or you'll ruin the blockers. Hopefully, someone has not used regular...

Anthony .....IF you do decide to change to a '37-'41 axle, you MUST also use a '37-'40 WISHBONE, which will bolt-up and 'fit' perfectly (as an assembly) in a '35-'36. Just for an idea of axle...

I just lost over an hour's worth of T5 stuff for you....but that's MY PROBLEM! Anyway, you can use the TAIL SHAFT housing off of a Chevy S-10, along with it's corresponding short SHIFT RAIL & Cover....
