Any pictures of Model A at Drive-Thru Tree?

Does anyone have pictures of their Model A at one of the California Drive-Thru trees.

I understand that their is a tree in Leggett, CA.
Are there other trees, elsewhere?

Thanks, Neil

What to look for to determine if a shock is rebuildable.

This is what I was taught and is what I look for at swap meets:

1. If shaft is off center, shock is not rebuildable.
2. Remove filler plug and turn shock upside down. If rust comes out, shock is...

Re: Pasadena High School Model A Club --Update 7 of 7

I purchased a ticket, but was not lucky enough to win, but I'm happy to support such a worthy cause.
I think it is important to get young people involved in preserving our cars.

I'm curious, do...

Tudor sedan seat springs (for parts)

Tudor sedan seat springs that have sat outside for awhile.
Can be used for parts. No wood frames.

Prefer local pick up.

Picture would not post.

I can email a picture if you are interested....

Re: ring & pinion change mechanic Calif area

I highly recommend Tom Endy.
He has rebuilt two Model A rear ends for me.
He is on this website, often.
Hopefully he will PM you.

Re: What is safest way to remove a rear end that has a broken rear spring center bolt

Broken rear spring center bolt follow up (one year later):

A gentleman in post number 4 suggested that I try to drive out the old rear spring center bolt and install a new one.

That's what I...

Re: My brothers 29 AA tanker truck overheated w/ cherry red manifold

Bill,
Thanks for the info.
Yes, my brother looked up the number and it is a January 1930. The motor and frame number match.
Surprisingly, it has the high speed beveled rear end.

January 1930 AA tanker truck

As you can see, the early 1930 trucks still used the 1929 style cabs.

The story goes that this truck was used to light the smug pots in the Hemet/Riverside area of California, probably for the...

Who is going to the Orange County Model A Ford Club pancake breakfast, this Sunday?

There are usually 200-300 cars there.

I had hoped to drive my 1929 Model A Tudor, but it is still not back together yet. Instead, I'll be driving my...

Did you happen to take any pictures of him with your car, 5 years ago?
If so, please share.

If not, there is still time. June 2019 is right around the corner.

My youngest brother owns a 1929 AA tanker truck. It's been sitting in his back yard for years (see pictures). It would overheat and get so hot that the exhaust manifold turned cherry red. He...

Re: Tom Endy

Tom,

As you may remember, I had the same surgery in 2005.
I have a seven inch scar on my left arm where they removed a vein to replace one of my clogged arteries. That scar is a daily reminder...
