Adjust all the shoes tight to the drums and then see what you have as far as pedal travel and hardness. If it is spongy you still may have air in the system? You may want to bleed it with the drums...

It needs to be a soft pin and is only there to keep the drive shaft from moving for and aft. A hard bolt will break if the splines are worn and then it will be a problem. I have a small anvil and...

David Where did the cowl and grille lacing come from? The Vintique stuff flattens out over time and the hood fit changes too much. Thanks for all the help..!!

Posie makes different height springs for that model? Also drive it at least 500 miles and it will drop after settling in. I use the lowest they make.

I used a easyout to get the rivet out. Is it normal to not be able to the piston to move with a hand vacuum pump? Seems like the piston for the brake should have a tighter seal in the bore? Thanks...

I have had some leaks before at that area and it ended up being the black water pump gaskets that came with the pumps. It wicks thru the gasket and I thought was the hose leaking.

I understand that the replacement ( aftermarket ) gear that is pressed on the shaft is not clocked in the correct position? my guy cuts a new keyway for the steering wheel.
