There should be two connections to the alternator. One is a Yellow Wire going to the Ammeter via the Terminal Box, and the other is branch of the Lighting Harness which goes into the Light Switch on...

I have never found any padding on the doors or any of the side panels in Model A's. The interiors I have installed have no padding in the door panels.

The subject engine has been running fine for several thousands of miles. I increased the head nut torque to 55 ft-lbs instead of 50 lbs-ft and annually, I re-torque the nuts.

When an engine has not run in a long period of time, the oil feeds to the bearings bleed out, so the engine has inadequate lubrication upon startup.
