I'm buying one from mack hills in Missouri. Thats where c&g and macs (ecklers) get there's from and raise the price. Better get on the list, they told me 20 weeks lead time.

I sand blasted a set of old chrome rims and used 2k epoxy primer, then painted them black with 2k paint, not spray can stuff. They have held up well and look good.

You guys are worrying me. But there are no other choices. Couldn't be as bad as some of the crappy patch panels you get now. I'll find out in 20 weeks.

There are no water passages in the intake. I would check where the upper hoses go on if it's center outlet or the water necks if it's the 49 or later front style outlet.

I think I would run the early style generator or mill the intake to match the 59a one your bracket fits on. Just an opinion.

Just saw this thread, very impressive metal shaping. Your welds are pretty long did you have any trouble with warping? Are you going to make the cab corners also ?

I am thinking about going and getting it myself. Their beds look good, but see no excuse for the cutting on the wood. I appreciate all the input and help.

I guess it's a try it and see thing, not many choices on beds and parts. Even thru eckler's and C and G they seem to get their orders filled from Mack Hils. I called Mack Hils and was told 20 weeks...

I also have had 2 different radiators from brassworks. One is in front of a merc flathead and it is well made and the engine runs very cool. They will custom make about anything you need.
