Engine year

I have found a castig number on the belll housing of my Engine. K841. Does the 41 stand for the year of the engine. If not can someone help in helping with the year. Thanks Howard

I have started to pull the rear end apart on my 1941 ford mercury, i have got the diff apart and i have removed the front bearing on the pinion, but i cant figure out how to remove the other bearing...
