Re: Marvel Carburetor
I'm rebuilding some Marvel carbs as well. Are the choke and throttle plate screws the same size as Zenith? If not, do you know the size?
Thanks

Re: Replacing king pins
Do you belong to a local Model A club? You'll find a world of hands-on help there. When I did mine I took the spindles, new bushings, and new king pins to an old time machine shop. He pressed in...

Re: Adjustable Drag Link
That is exactly what did a number of years ago. I seem to recall I removed 2" out of the middle but I'm not sure. Use the length of the sleeve as a guide for the length of the rod and how much...

Re: Repair of Soft Wood
I used the Liquid Wood & Wood Epox products on the B Pillar wood on my 30 coupe. Not structural wood but it was riddled with tack and staple holes making it near impossible to attach new windlace and...

Re: spring perches, castle nuts, and cotter keys

Original Grease Gun Rebuild
After cleaning out years of old grease, this is what I have. What do I need to rebuild it?
The deteriorated layered paper gasket/seal(?) was at the bottom of the barrel. Is that suppose to be there?
