31 Gas gauge
I'm looking for a gas gauge that I can refinish. All I need is the part with the markings on it. If you have this or this with the arm, I could use it. I really don't want the whole unit with the...

Re: Tires
We put a set of WW European Classic from Bert's on our 31 SW sedan. They seem fine, but don't have too many miles on them yet.

New GAV hard to turn
New rebuilt Zenith-2 and the GAV is very tight and hard to turn. It acts like it's dry and chatters when you try to open or close it.
Any ideas or can this be adjusted?

Re: Outside mirrors
Wow, they look great! I have started to whittle down the mounting portion of my passenger arm. I've got it almost where I can use it. I may leave it where it is now and add a convex mirror on that...

That would be a great help. That way I would know which side they should be on.

Re: Outside mirrors
I don't think so. I've looked at some pictures of other cars and the arm on them is on the top.

Outside mirrors
These mirrors were on the car when we got it. The arms angle to the front instead of to the rear, making them impossible to see out of. The car is a 31 S/W for reference. If someone can see a...

Re: Is it electrical or gas?
Hopefully I found the problem. I was going through and changing the jets with new ones. When I measured the old main jet it was between a #76-78. My search showed that it should be from #63-64. After...

Briggs or Murray
I'm confused by some things on our car. It's a 31 S/W, but the window tops look like a Murray. But the tag on the firewall says Briggs.
Can some one help me out on this?

Re: Is it electrical or gas?
I blew through all the passages and replace all the gaskets. Set the float level to 5/8”. How long it runs varies from about30 seconds to a couple of minutes. I set the idle at approximately 1.5...
