I recieved the upper brackets for the rumble seat. My problem is that the holes don't line up. The holes in the rumble seat cover are 2 1/4" center to center. The clips are 1 5/8" center to center. ...

How does the rumble seat attach on a 34 roadster? I have these brackets, but not sure how it goes together as it was apart when I got it. Here's pics of what I have.

Does anyone make the stainless steel trim ring that goes around the spare tire cover on a continental kit? I believe it's the same for all 34 fords.

Why take the peacocks out? Just open them up and drain the motor. That's all I did when I changed the head gaskets. Never removed the entire pepcock.

Is the tool tray lined with the same material used to insulate the inside of the trunk lid on a 40? If so, do you have a picture of a completed tool tray area?

I tested the battery while having someone push the starter button. Went from 6.34 volts to 2.2 volts. I need a new battery. Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able...

I've cleaned all the connections. The battery shows 6 volts. Seems like I would get something. ie. clicking, slow roll over. Lights and gauges work. I'll try a new battery, it is 4yrs old.
