Hemmings
Ran 39 ford for sale ad in HEMMINGS and got 4 interested contacts in less than 30 days. First caller took it. Goes to show if you price it right and use HEMMINGS it works. Jon Laing

39 ford deluxe mechanical fuel pump
Yesterday I changed my stock fuel pump for a 1948 glass bowl pump. It was a bigger job than one could imagine. I had to remove the fuel pump mount tube, mount the pump then slide the entire assembly...

Thanks for the great advice. I will install an electric fuel pump with the fuel filter between the tank and the pump. That should solve the problem. I will post results. Jon Laing

The backfire is out the exhaust. It starts very good with little turn over. The carb. was just completely rebuilt. Jon Laing
