Just curious. Did you adjust the anchor pins with drums on prior to painting. If not you may have brakes that are not satisfactory. You may need to touch up the paint at the anchor pins after this...

The info that I have comes from an old Roger Huntington publication (How to hop up Ford and Mercury V-8 engines).

Intake opens 22 BTDC Closes 66 ABDC, by my calculation that is 268 duration....

It is easier to tell you which ones don't go into water. Using your torque sequence drawing numbers 1, 2, 21, and 24 are dry on a 59.
