What do you guys use to pull the doors shut on your cars? It seems like using the door handle would not be good and the arm rest is only attached to the door panel.

No, this is not the tranny I have. These pictures show a seal on the shaft, and I have an o ring.

OK I pulled the pan, and there is no way to replace the o ring without dropping the entire valve body out of the case. You cannot slide the shaft out with the valve stack in the case.

I did turn the rear drums, so maybe that is part of the problem. I purchased new shoes, so don't really want to buy oversize at this time. Welding a little sounds like an option.

I contacted FATSCO and they had what I needed. I can't believe it, but I got both o-rings and shipping for $6.12. I will be back if I need something else.

OK thanks for the info on tack strips. After reading the reply's, I guess the top staples or is tacked to the strip. How is the strip held in the groove?
