I recently bought a case (2 five quart jugs) of Kirkland 5W-30 Fully synthetic oil from Costco for $30. It should be fine for winter since my car doesn’t leak or use oil.

I noticed Costco also...

Iíve never heard people with V-8 or 6 cylinder engines refer to their engines as Bangers. Itís normally a term used by car guys so you wouldnít find anyone with a one...

I agree with Flop, Jack and Bob C. that the the term “4 Banger” shortened to “Banger” refers to a modified 4 cylinder engine. Jim Brierley’s book which deals with his experience in the modification...

I agree with Chuck. Itís easy to forget to retard the idle after the engine warms up.

I also like to gently push the gearshift down so you can feel when itís ready to go into first gear rather...
