Drum reinforce bands
Thinking of installing reinforcing bands on my brake drums. Do the drums need to be turned after installation ? Ive been told no turning is needed. Yes I know Cast drums are the best way to go but...

Bill i didnt mean im going to use the parts...just thought its kind of cool everything stayed in such gpod shape after all these years. Im like you..i wouldnt trust vintage used parts like these.

You're right Ron....it could be ? I like the mystery of this stuff as much as the car itself ! Its kind of neat finding a distributor thats steal tight as new with poss. 80 yr old parts attached...

Lots of good info here. This dist. that im working on also had a Ford script dist. body that looks like its never been used. How old are the script bodys?

FORD script condenser
I started a rebuild on a distributor i just picked up and found a FORD script condenser. Ive rebuilt several but this is the first one ive found like this...pretty cool !
