interior will run you $2,000 - $3,000 depending on material, Original glass replace it with modern safety glass before you drive it...

I have a 28-29 NOS steering wheel that was made backwards. The little nubs for finger grips that are supposed to be on the back facing the gas tank, are actually on the front and you look at them.

when we do ours at the shop we tighten down the nut on the bridge washer as tight as you can possibly make it. We've had good luck doing it that way.

There were some issues years ago, the 2 tooth sectors were a bit undersized. That may be your issue.
