30 roaster windshield

Needed a roaster windshield top rail ,Year doesn't matter The rest of frame is OK just need the top part of the frame

38 ford alternator

Have a 38 ford changed to 12 volt with alternator .The fan bolts to the pully on the end of the alternator .Special pully used .Trouble is ,there is a high pitched whine from the alternator .Have...

Suggest hooking trim on bottom lift up hard and at the same time snap the top onto the board .use the palm of your hand , lift and snap. might not hurt to spray cilicone on rubber first

Disc trimer /cutter

In the old days an adjustable grinding disc cutter was used to trim down the worn edge of a grinding disc might someone have one surplus to there current needs I would like to buy one .John.

I have a 39 Mercury and had the same problem .I asked an 83 year old Mechanic still working .His answer set the timing back 2 degrees . I have not done mine yet, let us know if it works. John.

29 Ma steering

Son has a 29 roaster that steers terrible [very hard ] WE have a couple of the later boxes that appear to be ok. He [son] says they do not fit is that so ? or can they be made to fit .Help needed ....

My experience with the V8s are the front axles are installed from factory with forging information and part # facing the front on the right side in the boss. So if someone had the axle out to restore...

I have just finished restoring a 38 ford convt. and then bought a 1984 geo Tracker very badly eat out especially throughout the rear halve, I have located a non rust rear clip close to Huston TX....

head adapter-- temp gauge

Need an adapter [maybe called a reducer ] This fitting screws into the head opening next to the water outlet and the temperature gauge bulb screws into this fitting Johnny

A question : the corn head grease is used in areas of the combine head that the grease can surround the parts turning and can work well .a good place to use it on an old ford is the Universal joint...

Back to you mark you need to pull the hinge pillar ahead this will bring the door up at the back. many times a door low at the back can be traced to that front cowl mount that has pulled at the bolts...
