Carter P90091 rotary electronic fuel pump,2 psi,no regulator needed...the regulators are highly inaccurate btw.

Or you can go with bronze. There is an inherent chatter, Ford used fiber to quiet it down. Problem with fiber is it wears, altering valve timing and sloughing off fibers which clogs the oil pump...

Automotive RTV compounds, like permatex ultra will withstand the heat and fill the void, provided the void is captured.

Keeping the original exhaust manifold is a good idea, you need the heat...

Drill the center runner of your A intake manifold to 1.25" to realize any gain in performance from a B carb. The best thing is the port/starboard mount float valve, no more stalling on hard stops.
