If you use the number Kube uses, RAY 2449609, it is $57, but it say that one is for a mid 50's Ford. Will that also fit the earlier flatheads?

This statement confuses me, but then maybe I do not understand. Mechanical Brakes and Hydraulic brakes both stop the car by forcing the brake shoe against the drum, they just use different mechanisms...
