I've gotten pretty good by sound. Tapping the tank gives me a fairly accurate indication of the amount of fuel left.

Thanks for your explanation of Wisconsin license plates. Collect plates from most states. Certainly no consistency state-to-state.

Should be no confusion. YOM (year of manufacturer)...

Used the old standby many times. Get out of the car and push. Pop the clutch..........good to go!

Check the alternator, it may a 6 volt unit. Don't assume all alternators are 12 volt.

Have a real nice 1931 Wisconsin single plate 63-448c. Some states only require 1 rear plate . Don't know about Wisconsin.

I used an old 3X spark plug base and found an adapter. Removed the rubber cone. Works great!

Loved the vertical pop machines outside along the rest room row.
A church key opener and a straw gave an immediate discount.
We'd put in a dollars worth of gas and drive up and down main street....
