I have had this exact issue on two seperate engines and on both it was the coil-it would get hot and the engine would crap out.

My 40 Ford Coupe has (what I have been told doesn't exist) a keyed door lock on the drivers side. Can anyone set me straight on this? I also need a door latch for this side.

I put a shut off valve directly out of the tank, then a filter and then to the fuel pump. I wanted to catch any crud before the fuel went to the pump.

I have had some "vanity plates" made by Build-a-Sign. Very happy with them. You design the plate, colors, font etc. They are thin aluminum and I believe under $10.

I think your pictured one looks fine. I worked in the transportation industry my whole career. In all of the crashes I investigated, nearly all the deaths were related to NOT wearing a seatbelt!!...

Good advice!! My transmission guy said to run a bottle of similar cleaner thru BEFORE I change the filter and fluid.
