The first engine I broke it in slow and easy, rarely over 50, lasted 3000 miles before the rear main crumbled----the engine I have now I knew it would do 67 on the third day of driving, from then on...

on mine there is a insert made to hold the terminal in the proper place, both depth and centering---you may need to modify or make one to fit the terminals you are using

I used to collect condensers and test them, got good at changing them,had a lot of short term failures. Then I got the A&L burnout proof one, been 30 years, still good, have replaced the spare one...

I have a question for people that use battery tenders--how long do your batterys last?
When I passed the tent selling batterys and tenders I was told a tender would double my battery life.

Without knowing how it was modified it will be hard to say which way the knob goes

The original Fors lube for springs is shown on page 383 of the 1936 service bulletins, along with the introduction of the new springs with lubrication channels

On some modern cars washers with rubber insert are used, I have used those washers on other problem leak cars
