Managed to get the red to rise to the half way point.
Have noticed a small bubble a couple of times in the red that disappeared with a slight tap to the gauge.
Am I expecting to much with just...

The temperature part of the dual gauge is completely original.
I made a gauge from 3 originals of which I was able to use the original temp gauge and housing and swap the fuel gauge part...

Lawson, I think you will find that is the correct 1934 only oil filler tube, the cap however is a later year.

1933/34 radiator mounting pads.

I would like to know the approximate thickness of the rubber pads under the radiator mounts.
If someone could help before I install properly would be great as it must affect alignment of the hood....

I had a similar problem with my cabriolet.
I replaced the rods with stainless steel and threaded the ends.
The nuts originally brass, can be turned from solid stock brass to get the 45 degree...

Well I contacted Randy but he is out of stock and his supplier is closed due to Covid, I am not sure if it is temporary or for good.

I am looking for the part on a 1933/34 dual gauge (new or used) that clamps thru the radiator hose that accepts the sender unit.
Are these being reproduced at all?

I am having trouble sourcing the correct brass nuts for fixing the vacumn lines into the manifold for a 1934 here in New Zealand.
These are the small ones 3/8".
I understand there are 3 sizes...

David, Managed to pull the tailpipe out today and fit up the correct mount fixed to the back cross member.
Has eliminated the rattle problem.
Thankfully 0 miles on the motor so everything came...
