The first time I hooked the battery up the generator smoked out the back (see my previous post), I thought the cutout was stuck but now I know what the real problem was. I plan on trying it again now...

I haven't had anyone work on the generator since I've owned it and the cut out looks like it is an original one but who knows. I tried to get it open but haven't had much luck so I've decided to get...

Thanks for all the help, mine's a late '31 and I believe they attach to the wood rail as there is no sign of having had any welded to the cab. I don't know how I missed seeing them in Snyder's but...

Does the 30-31 CCPU use the same 3 hooks along the upper part of the seat that a AA truck uses (pictured below)? If so, who has them?

It doesn't really bind, as the door will close easily to the first part of the opening, in other words it catches slightly before the striker, but to get it to close completely I have to lift it up...

How do the bullet ends on the wiring harness attach to the horn, do they push into the 2 copper contacts like the ones in this picture?
