My sedan doesn't have windshield vents like other Model A's, that's were the side vent was needed and probably helped delayed production of the fordor. The dash is flat with no screws holding it on.

I've had my July 28 for 30 years and seldom see 28 fordor's with LS cowl vent at National Meets. I don't think they had right vents. Factory photo's highlight left side vents, upside down handles,...

My is a July 28 with a left hand side cowl vent. Are you looking for a right hand drive car?
Years ago my friend had a early roadster with cowl vents on both sides (surely not original)

Easily made made from high speed round stock, probably 5/16? Notice the relief angles on top and sides. Machinist call them form tools and sharpen using a abrasive honing stone.

You make your own cutter out of some 1/4 high speed steel stock. Most machine tool shop sell. It will need to be shaped using a grinder to match the groove needed.

You need to switch the on to off and the off to on. My speedometer and tach drops while in overdrive.
