Woohoo! Just made my town sedan go up in value. This looks like Mecum prices. Looks like a Murray body and those are the least rare body style. Means my Briggs has to be 3x that!!!! :P

Removed all 4. Totally removed the rear, backing plates and all. Just took the shoes off the front. Put new pads on the shoes and put it back all together. Brakes on the model a are officially on my...

Kinda hit a wall. Got the emergency brake shoes off but according to Andrews, once the 4 hex nuts are removed from the backing plate, it should just come off and then you can work on the brakes on...

I have. Float is fine. Took GAV needle apart and it seats well. I have a new GAV rod on the way. Hopefully we will figure it out tomorrow. Thanks for everyone's help.

Took off the carb today. Tok it apart. Measured the float. Took apart the gav needle. Put it all back together and still running poor. Checked timing again and it is dead on. Have a friend from our...
