UPDATE...The distributor shaft was caked with rust and would not move. It had popped out of the drive gear just enough to not turn. I don't get it. It fine the day before. I can only guess it is from...

I know the screwdriver method. I asked what would make a snap by the firewall. Tomorrow I am going to give Blockheads theory a run.

Ran great yesterday

Cranks over good but will not fire. Removed cap, body and rotor and loosened cam. turned ignition switch on and rotated cam by hand and heard snap from cowl area. Any ideas?

32 rails are easy to identify. I think your firewall is too low. Lay the fuel tank in.

I protected the radiator with cardboard, leaned a mirror against it and used a Dremel tool to prep the block. I used 2" clear tape to hold JB in place.

Your problem is intermittent. I suspect an electrical connection issue effected by the temp and/or humidity. Good luck

Any thoughts on an inline filter. I have one in the shut off. I leave the shut off in the on position, unless car sits for a while.

I have a pro rebuilt and it drips. What should I look for. Gas seems to drip from vent hole. Float is set at 3/4"

How can water get onto gas tank?? Been driving this car for one and a half years with no problems. The tank is lined. Yesterday the car died because of water. I removed the bowl and drained about two...
