Only cut what has to come out for rot ; usually 2-3”. As seems like you stated, DO NOT replace a full panel!

As to the 24” tractor supply…noted it did have a taper toward the bottom so 21” likely would not nest to the bottom

I’ve have NOS tranny cases and are about that color. A lot of spray can engine paint is a bit dark but not much. NOS may have faded but they are same all over ..not doff on an exposed side.

Depending on the overall condition and shape of your broken bow, it might could be repaired.
Glue, clamps and 3/16 pegs can do wonders. If course the pegs might show but negligible.

Seems like just enhanced arm signals from long ago.
Btw, I’ve not seen an arm signal for turns out a drivers window in 25 years. Now I’ve seen a few “finger signals” fairly often!!

I’ve seen a lot of ash. But prefer hard maple when I make my own which I usually do.
There was a blight on ash for awhile but seeing it again available.

Imported rubber (far from pure rubber) just ages quickly. I’ve seen older tubes wrapped but come out deteriorating

I’ve gotten several scammy things like “John Doe” and if you look deeper into the email address they are foreign. However, some are cleaver enough to setup/hijack email address that look USA
