46 Ford pickup

We have in the shop a Ford Pickup which is registered as a 1946.
Serial # 799c1420533.
Would that be 1947? Does it tell the type? 1/2 ton? 3/4 ton?
Thanks for any help

I second and third MMO in the gas tank and dribble some in the carb till it smokes. I have an injector in my 46 that feeds MMO into the carb. Great stuff.
