Roy Nacewicz is across the road from Rich..both used to work for Ford.

There was also a heavy duty V8 60 transmission available as an option. It was used mainly by trucks and taxis. It had similar gearing as the 85 hp transmissions.

Most 37 V8 60 powered cars were tin side engines with aluminum heads and tapered water pumps...they screw in/out..the 85 hp engines have different pumps. Rather than add another tail light on my 60...

Regarding the leaky water pump...try to find a NOS 37 Ford tapered water rebuild kit or at the least one of the new kits on Ebay...be sure to smooth out the surface on the back of the pump and the...

Normally a V8 60 can be tuned and massaged to run quite well...a rebuilt 81 carb, rebuilt distributor and freshened coil, plugs and plug wires can go along way if the ring blow by is not too...

Very nice job on the pre war midget...nice workmanship!

You might want to check some of the photos in the Fox midget book showing dash gauges and steering wheels...many of these V8-60 cars built...
