Re: EAB Heads & their Piston Reliefs - Is this right?

I'll check them, or see what my machine shop thinks at least, but these are EAB heads so I'm expecting this to be a problem in the piston area and to need relieving in the valve area with the Max-1...

Re: EAB Heads & their Piston Reliefs - Is this right?

I am really bummed out about this but I bought them 5 years ago on eBay and really should have asked more questions about what was done to them and looked closer. At the time it didn't even occur to...

Re: Ford lifters on an Iskendarian cam

I'm waking this one back up and following along because I'm in a similar boat as @tubman with wanting to use the OE lifters and a Max-1. I'd like to know what the winning combination ends up being.

Re: Big lot of a & aa parts destined for the scrapper in maine (5/2014)

I'm pretty sure I got the last of the loose tanks, but IDK what may still be in storage. There were 2 rollers that looked to have 30/31 cowls. They were on cut down AA frames used as tractors locally...

Re: Big lot of a & aa parts destined for the scrapper in maine (5/2014)

I don't know my way around here so well, I only saw the top level forums, not the subforum for AA's. Feel free to crosspost and tell your buddies though. Time is of the essence.

Re: Big lot of a & aa parts destined for the scrapper in maine (5/2014)

I did not since it's all A and AA stuff, though he did have one T rear end that had been run on some sort of tractor conversion at some point. It had gears on the hubs.

Big lot of a & aa parts destined for the scrapper in maine (5/2014)

Crossposting this from the HAMB:

Over the weekend I was able to fill my truck with some Model A parts from a guy that's fairly buried in them and hasn't had a huge amount of luck finding buyers....

Re: Looking for ID on these Aluminum Quarters

Ok, I got a message from the guy that originally salvaged these from a scrapper. They are from a Marmon v16, so, notaford, disregard.

Looking for ID on these Aluminum Quarters

I'm trying to ID these aluminum quarters so I can determine what should be done with them.

I suspect they may be 1930 Loncoln, so I'm posting them here.

I picked these up in an auction. Nobody...

Re: 53 Mercury/Shoebox Front Brakes

Price Drop, $60.00

I bought these juice brakes to try and see if I could adapt them to earlier spindles. I can't without major modifications that I don't want to do and I'm not building a Merc or...

Price Drop, $100

Four 35 Ford Wire Wheels with Hubs & Drums; asking $100.00 OBO, local pickup preferred. One tire holds air & I can cut off the rest of the rotten ones.

Two of them look pretty...

53 Mercury/Shoebox Front Brakes

I'm not building a Merc or Shoebox anytime soon so here they are.

These apparently came off of a 53 mercury and should also fit a 52 as well as 49-53 Shoebox. I'm not certain on the fitment though...

Dana 44 Rear End 3.07 with Brakes

Looking to find a new home for this Dana 44 rear end. I've decided I'm not going to have a project that I want to use it for anytime soon, which makes it in the way.

I got this in a parts lot, so...
