I would think mild would work. if they break go thicker. The mech brakes work. and when one fails 3 still work.

running rich enough to get down to 12.5 miles to the gallon would blacken the plugs. I would think. get that carb fixed. unless your running a V8 and pulling a trailer.

I would run it. When I redid my 78 chevy 4x4 front axle because the ball joints were gone. I bought all the wear parts but was tight on cash. $150 for china $600 for stock. found pitting like that...

I'll stand corrected. Do you know why they were sticking? rubber sticking to seat or too tight of tolerance between ridges and tube? I am sorry JoeCB for thinking that this was a non problem.

its probably just my bad luck. I cant order from macs without something in my order being a junk part. poor machining on the seating surface appears to be the reason for the leak. with my old needle...
