Re: Hemmings oil

Personally, I wouldn't use any synthetic oil in my Model A. Not because it isn't good, but it's kind of expensive since I change my oil every autumn. So I use a good brand of 10W-30 oil and it's...

Re: Whitewalls

There were whitewalls on my '30 Dlx Coupe when I bought it 14 years ago. When I replace the tires, they'll be blackwalls. I feel that black tires more correctly represent what the car looked like...

Re: Fan question

The 2 blade aluminum fan is well made and works extremely well. I've had no problems with overheating since installing this fan.

I have a Fun Projects voltage regulator in my Model A in place of the cutout for a number of years and it has performed very well. It even looks like the standard cutout and has the Ford script on...

Re: tire question

I would feel a whole lot more comfortable spending a little more money and buying the Lester tires. They're made in the U.S. and that's a bonus to me.

Re: The Twenty Millionth Ford

I had the privilege of seeing that car up close in '03 at the National Meet in Dearborn in the Hyatt Lobby. It was neat to see that car close up. Don't know where it is now.

Cool video of a cool car. Beautiful restoration. It looked terrific next to the biplane.

I just bought a set of Echlin points for my modern upper plate. The NAPA guy told me that they are American made. We'll see if they're good. Some of the foreign points are garbage and get out of...

Re: Edsel Fords 120 Birthday

Edsel Ford was a class act. Far classier than his father. If it weren't for Edsel, we might not have a Ford Motor Co. today.
Happy 120th birthday and rest in peace.

Re: Riverside tires

Unless I'm mistaken, the only Montgomery Ward Riverside tires made today are for the Model T Ford. They are presumably similar quality to the originals.

Re: hershey car auction results link

Those prices paid for some of those cars were outrageous! All it tells me is that there are people with more money than brains.

Re: I've always wanted a Model T and saw this

If the wood in the car is in good shape, $6,500 is a bargain. If you have room for it, you'll have a lot of fun driving and working on it.

That's a terrific video. I'm a fan of Carl Edwards and the Ford he races. It was a real treat to see and hear the car run. Edsel Ford II is a great spokesman for FMC.
Thanks for posting the...
